During every dry season, villagers of  Kampenh Commune and Otres Commune in Steung Hav District had to collect clean water from a distanced stream for their daily water requirement. Hence, 2 manual well pumps were installed and donated to the community on 23 December 2020. This initiative aims to improve their living condition with easier access to clean water while minimizing the exposure to harmful bacteria from contaminated open water source.

The handover of manual well pumps was represented by Mr Mazley Mahazir, General Manager of CEL and CELII to  Mr. Suon Pisy, Vice Steung Hav District Governor of Sihanouk Province, who expressed appreciation to the company’s continuous support and contributions to the community. The villagers were also very delighted and grateful to receive the donated water facilities.
