On 18 November 2023, Leader Energy successfully initiated a tree planting programme in Vietnam as part of our commitment to achieving the group’s goal of planting 1,000 trees. Our LYS Energy Vietnam team, in collaboration with Dow Vietnam, spearheaded the planting of 400 coconut trees in Long An province. This programme is designed to enhance green spaces and is projected to sequester about 334.4 tCO2e annually. The team also received a certificate of appreciation.

While we have already reached our target for the number of trees planted, our dedication to combating climate change and promoting community engagement remains steadfast. We will continue in our tree planting efforts to contribute positively to the environment.
