Leader Energy Singapore was honoured to participate in the NEMS Charity Outing, an annual event organised by Energy Market Company (EMC). Together with 35 dedicated volunteers from across Singapore’s power industry, our team spent a joyful day at Bird Paradise with about 30 young children from Child at Street 11.

Watching their faces light up as they explored the park, especially the captivating penguin exhibit, was truly special. For nearly two decades, NEMS participants have come together to support this meaningful cause, and we are proud to be part of this tradition that brings smiles, new experiences, and learning moments to children who need them most.

Child at Street 11 is a not-for-profit organisation that cares for vulnerable children in the Ang Mo Kio area, serving children aged 2 months to 12 years old. Looked after by trained teachers and dedicated staff, the children learn language and numeracy skills in real-life learning environments. Their rich educational experience also includes working with the local community and taking part in international projects that strengthen their right to be heard and respected.

We believe in the power of community and look forward to more opportunities to contribute and create positive, lasting change. Because when we work together, we truly can build a brighter future for all.
