Leader Energy, together with River Ocean Cleanup (ROC), took another significant step in our mission to protect Cambodia’s precious rivers with a successful cleanup event at Tonlé Sap in Pursat Province.

We were honoured to have the support of His Excellency Khoy Rida, Pursat Governor, Mr. Eng Reaksmey, Director of Environment, Ministry of Environment, Cambodia, and Electricité du Cambodge (EDC), which underscores the importance of collective action in safeguarding one of the region’s most vital ecosystems. Present to grace the event was graced by Mr. Heng Sopheana, Deputy Governor of Pursat Province.

The Tonlé Sap is not just a body of water. It is a lifeline for millions, supporting food security, biodiversity, and cultural heritage. But it faces growing threats from pollution and waste.

At Leader Energy, we believe that our responsibility extends beyond providing clean, reliable power. We are committed to conserving natural resources, supporting local communities, and promoting a circular economy for a sustainable future.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners, volunteers, and local communities for coming together to protect this vital ecosystem. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
