Our fifth volunteering activity with NASOM was held on 20 November 2025 at NASOM Bandar Puteri, Selangor.

The day began with some sharing and a brief introduction by the teachers about the center, the teenagers, and day-to-day activities of the center. It was followed by a tour of the center where everyone got to learn more about the struggles and experience of autistic teenagers alongside learning more about the autistic spectrum. Soon, staff, teachers, and teenagers got together for a little gardening activity followed by a small spring-cleaning activity around the center.

Throughout the activities, teachers shared their insights and experiences in supporting children with autism, helping volunteers gain a deeper understanding of autism awareness in daily learning environments and the differences in helping people with autism from two different demographic groups (teenagers / adults & children).

We concluded our volunteerism by helping the teenagers to complete two large puzzle assembling activity where everyone reflected on their experiences and in giving back to the community, especially people living with autism.
