1. The North Star ESG Target Setting – Net Zero GHG emissions by 2030, enforced through Sustainability Report that anchors operational decarbonisation and avoids new fossil fuel assets — an accelerated pathway from 2050, ahead of industry norms.
2. Future-Fit & Responsible Workforce – Built specialised “green-collar” capabilities for emerging technologies such as Sodium-Sulfur (NaS) batteries, addressing critical skill gaps for Malaysia’s future energy transition workforce.
3. ESG Breakthrough Innovation – Deployed Malaysia’s first pilot-scale NaS Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integrated with LSE II solar PV farm, providing high-heat-tolerant, safe and efficient energy storage as an alternative to lithium-ion systems requiring energy-intensive cooling.
