• Completed his high school examination from Han Chiang High School, Penang, Malaysia in 1959 and obtained a Certificate in Business Administration and Accounting in 1967 through self-study in Singapore.
• In 1976, he founded Leader Cable Industry Sdn Bhd (now known as Leader Cable Industry Berhad (“LCIB”)). He then established Leader Universal Holdings in 1988, to implement a merger exercise between LCIB and Universal Cable (M) Bhd, which resulted in Leader Universal Holdings becoming the holding company. Leader Universal Holdings was previously listed on the Main Board of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now known as Main Market of Bursa Securities). In 2011, together with the other Promoters, namely Dato’ H’ng Chun Hsiang and Datin Seri H’ng Hsieh Ling, they formed HNG Capital.
• In 2012, Leader Universal Holdings was privatised by HNG Capital. The privatisation saw the shift from the production and sale of cable and wire business to the emergence of the power business under HNG Capital Group.
• He assumed his current position as the Group Executive Chairman of HNG Capital in 2012. As the Group Executive Chairman, he initiated the privatisation of Leader Universal Holdings, diversified its business in the metal, power, property and food and beverages (F&B) sectors, and established the HNG Capital Group.
• Has about 29 years of experience in the power industry.
• Apart from HNG Capital, he also founded GUH Holdings Berhad, a Malaysian-based corporation listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities with its principal activities in electronics, property development and utilities.
• Currently sits on the board of several private companies and is also the Executive Chairman of GUH Holdings Berhad, a public listed company in Malaysia.

• Graduated with an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Malaya in 1963. Upon graduation in 1963, he commenced his career as an Economist with the Economic Development Board of Singapore for 5 years until 1968.
• Joined the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (“MIDA”) in 1968 as Director of Investment Promotion, whereby his responsibilities include promoting foreign and domestic investments in Malaysia’s manufacturing and services sectors, and to assist foreign and local investors on investment-related matters.
• Subsequently he was promoted to Deputy Director General in 1976. From 1984 until his retirement in 1995, he was the Director-General of MIDA. As Deputy Director-General and Director-General of MIDA, he oversaw, promoted and facilitated investments in the manufacturing and services sectors in Malaysia.
• Between 1995 to 2020, he served as an Independent Non-Executive Director in a number of public listed companies, namely Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad, Petronas Gas Berhad, Leader Universal Holdings, Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Berhad, Malaysia Airlines System Berhad and Yeoh Hiap Seng Limited. He was also appointed as the Independent Non-Executive Director of Pengurusan Danaharta National Berhad from 1998 to 2006, and Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad, Amanah Merchant Bank Berhad and Singapore Unit Trust Berhad from 1995 to 2000. Thereafter, he was also a director of BNM from 2000 to 2021.
• He was conferred with Bintang Kesatria Mangku Negara (KMN) in 1979 and subsequently received the Johan Setia Mahkota (JSM) award in 1987. Thereafter, he was awarded the Darjah Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Perak in 1988.
• Currently serves as the Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of APM Automotive Holdings Berhad, the Chairman and the Director of ASB Management Sdn Bhd and Panasonic Procurement Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the Director of Auto Parts Holdings Sdn Bhd, Ecolectric Bikkz Sdn Bhd and NHK Manufacturing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the Executive Chairman and the Director of SKA Management Consultants Sdn Bhd.

• Graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in 1993. In 2005, he attended the ASEAN Advanced Senior Manager Development Program by the Harvard Business School (Alumni Club of Malaysia).
• Has over 25 years of experience in the power industry.
• In 2011, under his leadership as HNG Capital’s Group CEO and with the assistance of Gan Boon Hean as the Chief Operation Officer of HNG Capital then, HNG Capital started to explore power projects outside Cambodia, such as Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Malaysia. The HNG Capital Group secured the first large scale solar farm contract in Malaysia with LSE in 2017 and completed the acquisition of 70.00% equity in LNTH which operated 5 small hydro power plants in Lao Cai, Vietnam in 2016. Since then, the Group continued to expand its operations into new countries such as Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
• On 25 October 2022, he was appointed as the Executive Deputy Chairman. The Executive Deputy Chairman has overall responsibility for the Group’s business, especially its business strategies, corporate governance and sustainability goals and ensuring legal requirements of the Board are met, while also reviewing the performance of the Group CEO. He also acts as one of the external spokespersons of the Group. If the situation requires, he will also step in as acting Chairman of the Board during the absence of Chairman.
• Currently does not hold any directorships in any other public listed company.

• Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, US in 1987. Subsequently, she obtained a Master of Science degree majoring in Taxation from Drexel University, Philadelphia, US in 1989.
• Has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• In 1989, she commenced her career at Citibank Bank Berhad. Thereafter she joined Leader Universal Holdings from 1992 to 2012 as the Group Financial Controller, primarily involved in Leader Universal Holdings Group’s financial, accounting and taxation matters. In 1992, she was appointed as the Leader Universal Holdings’ Group CFO, spearheading the group’s financial, accounting and taxation matters.
• Currently serves as the Non-Executive Director of GUH Holdings Berhad.

• Obtained a Diploma in Electrical Power from University Technology Malaysia in 1977. He then graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, US in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He subsequently obtained a Master of Business Administration from University Malaya in 1996.
• A Corporate Professional Engineer under the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia and the Board of Engineers, Malaysia from 1989 and 1990 respectively to 2020.
• Has over 42 years of experience in the power utility industry.
• Currently does not hold any directorship in any other public listed company.

• Graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Bradford England, United Kingdom in 1984. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree, majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, US and joined the Advanced Management Programme of the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, US.
• A member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia since 2019.
• Has more than 26 years of experience in accounting, finance and risk management in relation to the power industry.
• Currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad.

• Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Putra Malaysia in 1998.
• Has been a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 2001 and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 2003.
• From 2017 to 2020, she was a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and from 2013 to 2020, she was a member of the Malaysian Association of Risk and Insurance Management. In 2020, she became a fellow and faculty at the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia where she conducts training for directors on various board and governance areas across all industries.
• Has extensive experience in financial, operational, internal audits, risk advisory, sustainability and corporate governance matters.
• In 2001, she was awarded with the Certificate of Meritorious Award by the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants for outstanding academic performance and exemplary career development. At present, she runs the Mandatory Accreditation Programme and is one of the key facilitators in the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia, where her primary role is to advocate good corporate governance and to increase awareness on the duties of directors.
• Currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director in Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad, Hong Leong Industries Berhad, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad, Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad and RAM Holdings Berhad.

• Graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree with honours from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom in 1971. He was called to the English Bar the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, United Kingdom in 1971. In 1972, he was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in the High Court of Sarawak.
• Was an Advocate in Reddi & Co Advocates in Kuching, Malaysia in 1972 and was made a partner in 1992. He was appointed as the State Attorney General Chambers of Sarawak from 1992 to 2007 where he was in charge of legal affairs of the state. He was retained by the State Government of Sarawak in an advisory capacity and represented the State Government of Sarawak in Court as State Legal Counsel from 2008 to 2023, where he was responsible for giving legal advice to the Sarawak Government.
• Currently the Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Sarawak Energy Berhad and Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad. He is also the Non-Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of Sarawak Cable Berhad.
