There was a surge of Covid-19 cases in the community since 20 February 2021. The local authorities have set up a checkpoint for interprovincial travels along mid-way from Steung Hav district to road #4. The checkpoint station has been running 24/7 since 4 March 2021 to control the spread of the virus. In response to the checkpoint authorities’ dedication and sacrifices, Cambodian Energy Limited II Co. Ltd (CEL II) has taken the initiative to sponsor some necessities as a show of support and appreciation for their efforts. The sponsored items were handed over at the checkpoint on 14 March 2021 and Mr Sun Pisey, Vice District Governor expressed sincere gratitude to CEL II for the supplies.

  • 20 boxes of drinking water
  • 5 boxes of soft drinks
