SELANGOR, 28 NOVEMBER 2024 – Leader Energy has taken a groundbreaking step in advancing Cambodia’s renewable energy
landscape with the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA) for a 150 MW wind farm with the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Cambodia.

This marks Leader Energy’s first venture into wind energy, a strategic expansion as one of the region’s pioneering power players with
established expertise in solar, hydro, transmission lines, battery storage and green mobility. The wind farm adds a new
dimension to its renewable energy portfolio, reinforcing its role in driving sustainable development across Southeast Asia.

The 150 MW wind farm, set to be located in Mondulkiri province,
will harness the region’s untapped wind resources. This project
aims to showcase the viability of large-scale wind energy in Cambodia, diversify the nation’s energy mix, and meet its
growing power demands. Scheduled for completion in 2027, the project represents a pivotal milestone in Cambodia’s clean energy journey.

Dato’ Sean H’ng Chun Hsiang, Executive Deputy Chairman and
Co-Group CEO of Leader Energy, emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts in realizing this transformative initiative,

Under the terms of the IA, Leader Energy will manage the wind farm for a 25-year period, reflecting its long-term commitment to driving sustainable energy solutions in the region.

The IA signing reflects Leader Energy’s relentless pursuit of scalable renewable energy initiatives, fostering local economic growth,
and creating lasting positive impacts on the communities it serves.
As part of its broader commitment to achieving net-zero by 2030, this project stands as a beacon of innovation and sustainability.
