CTL Cambodia
Power Plant #2, National Road #2, Sangkat Chak Angre Leu, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia
In 2010, we became the first private investor to be awarded a high-voltage transmission project in Cambodia. A 25-year, Build-Own-Transfer (BOT) Power Transmission Agreement was signed with EDC on January 20th, 2010 for the financing, construction, commissioning and O&M of the North Phnom Penh 230/115/22kV substation, the Kampong Cham 115/22kV substation, and the 110km double circuit 230kV overhead transmission line linking the two substations. The Cambodian Transmission Limited “CTL” project was successfully put into commercial operation in August 2013 and is operated and maintained by CTL. The CTL project is a vital link bringing much needed power to important load centers in and around Phnom Penh from large hydroelectric plants operating in the Northern part of the Country. Since its commissioning in 2013, the CTL project boasts a near flawless record of availability and reliability of which LEADER ENERGY is very proud.
