In conjunction with World Environment Day 2026, Aimpactz was proud to partner with The Millen Penang and Leader Energy to organize a CSR Hill Cleanup at Penang City Park (Youth Park) and No. 3 Hill, Penang.

What made this initiative particularly meaningful was that sustainability extended beyond the cleanup itself. Guided by the principles of mindful consumption and the 5Rs (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rot), participants were served plant-based nasi lemak and locally sourced bananas, while event banners and commemorative T-shirts were intentionally omitted to reduce unnecessary waste and resource consumption.

Interestingly, the amount of litter found along the trails was relatively low. This is an encouraging sign that more visitors are becoming conscious of keeping our parks and trails clean. It also reminds us that environmental stewardship is not only about cleaning up waste, but about cultivating habits that prevent litter from entering our natural spaces in the first place.

Beyond the environmental impact, the cleanup provided an opportunity for participants to connect with nature, strengthen team bonds, and reflect on the role each of us plays in creating a more sustainable future.

A heartfelt thank you to The Millen Penang and Leader Energy for demonstrating that sustainability is not just a commitment, but a series of intentional choices.

Together, we can create cleaner, greener, and more resilient communities—one action at a time. 💚
