In conjunction with Environmental Day, the Thailand team joined hands with the Scholars of Sustenance Foundation (SOS) to organize the Thailand Food Bank event at Bang Chan School.

Our team collaborated with SOS and the local community to cook meals for students and community members using surplus food. We also planted home-grown vegetables so the school can use them for future meals. In addition, a local leader demonstrated and encouraged students to sort waste properly, so that separated waste can be recycled.

At the end of the event, we learned that food waste from the school will be sent to the local community, where it will be converted into fertilizer. This fertilizer will then be used in the school garden.
