With the emphasis in promoting public health, especially amidst Covid-19 pandemic, two handwashing sinks were donated to Kampenh Primary School, in Steung Hav District. Handwashing is one of the most effective ways to prevent several infectious diseases, however the school was lack of handwashing facilities and students could not cultivate good habit of before and after meals. This initiative aims to improve the students and school staffs’ hygiene and safety standards, and instill lifelong healthy habits.

The handover of handwashing sinks was represented by Mr Mazley Mahazir, General Manager of CEL and CELII to the School Master and Teachers on 27 January 2022. It was heartwarming to watch the excited students trying out their newly installed facilities on the day of handover.
